Because We Care

Hampton Hall Charitable Fund

Our Mission

The mission of the Hampton Hall Charitable Fund (HHCF) is to support the charitable interests and outreach efforts of the residents of Hampton Hall and to assist with needs within the larger community.

What We Do

The HHCF was established by a small group of Hampton Hall residents who wanted to ensure that volunteer and financial resources were available to help those in need inside and outside our community. In 2013, the HHCF began a partnership with the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry. This has enabled us to strengthen our level of philanthropic expertise.

With a community represented Board of Directors and the help of dozens of volunteers throughout Hampton Hall, the HHCF organizes a variety of events annually to raise funds for the grants program that are awarded to local charitable organizations that focus on the needs and challenges of children, families and individuals in Beaufort and Jasper counties. These events include the Holiday Home Tour and Game Day, as well as our signature fundraising events such as the Tiffany Style Luncheon and Fashion Show and the Wine & Craft Beer Tastings.

In addition, HHCF is a host for the annual Par 3 Golf Tournament at the Hampton Hall Club, raising funds to support the Beaufort Memorial Keyserling Cancer Center’s patients and their families. The HHCF also serves as a volunteer partner for Bluffton Self Help, collecting toys for children during the holidays, as well as holding an annual school supply drive to assist in giving local middle and elementary school students the opportunity to start the school year off right.

With the strong support of our residents throughout our community, the HHCF continues to raise the bar on the work it does to make a difference in the lives of people in need in our area.

HHCF Grant Program

The money raised from HHCF fundraising events is awarded to local nonprofit organizations each year through a grant application and evaluation process, which begins in September. Grants are awarded to the selected organizations in December.

Over the past 12 years, Hampton Hall Charitable Fund has awarded tens of thousands of dollars in grants to local nonprofit organizations. The Fund’s success is directly attributed to the generosity of local residents and event sponsors, making it possible for HHCF to provide grants to local nonprofit organizations each year.
